"Being on a group tour with just 2 people was great. Helen made the guiding very personal and we got the feeling of spending the day with family. The walk was relaxing with amazing views and great commentary of our guide Helen. Helen guided us to this lovely beach for lunch and prepared a delicious lunch package. A wonderful day! Thanks"

"What an amazing way to tour the coastline! Nicole is an excellent guide. She picked everyone up at our hotels and then eased us into the tour with some great information on the drive. The hike is enjoyable with beautiful scenery and great commentary by Nicole. She picks the perfect spot by the water to enjoy lunch, which is delicious. Highly recommended!"
"Simply Amazing! Breathtaking Views, Great Guide, Awesome Lunch. This trip was truly a delightful experience. I was lucky enough to get a solo trip since not enough people confirmed in time. Nicole was super accommodating and organized in setting us up! His stories and presence were great throughout the walk and made it thoroughly enjoyable. The views were absolutely spectacular, and the lunch was just as great. Seriously, best lunch in an organized tour I've had in my whole stay in NZ. Kudos! This walk is truly worth it. Not too difficult for someone who likes hiking, but difficult enough (I use "difficult" lightly here) to make you sweat a bit and keep those muscles working. Just what I love in a perfect NZ sightseeing adventure."

"The all day hike as led by Helen has been, far and away, one of the most enjoyable guided tours I have been on. Helen was considerate, knowledgeable, and extremely patient in answering our questions about the walk, the town, and general questions about Christchurch/New Zealand/outdoor activities. We set off on a brisk pace, but Helen consistently checked in with us and adjusted our pace accordingly. The views are magnificent; it's rare to see the juxtaposition of cliff and sky as beautifully set out as it is on the crater rim walk. The lunch and snacks were delicious, and all the more enjoyable to consume during the hike. Highly recommend."

"A Must Do in Christchurch. This was an absolute blast, I would recommend it to one and all. Nicole was great providing us with all the equipment needed as well as lovely little personal touches like getting us a hot drink on the way out to the track and providing us with morning tea. Nicole was able to provide us with interesting facts and took us around the track at an easy to manage pace and provided enjoyable conversation. And the scenery was amazing my brother and I loved the morning and would highly recommend this trip to anyone in the area."

"ABSOLUTE Must do!!!! Out of all the things you do, this is an absolute must! This hike, which is not a difficult hike, is incredible and beautiful and scenic and fun and everything you would ever hope for from NZ. If you skip this, you've skipped the major reason for visiting NZ. Nicole is wonderful and knowledgeable and patient and fun. I encourage everyone to book this tour. It will be one of the biggest highlights of your trip! You can book directly on their website too. I can't say enough about them and the day they plan - and they take care of everything!! Nothing for you to worry about except a great day. PS - we did it in running shoes and it worked great. No hiking boots or special shoes needed. Thanks for a great day Crater Rim Walks!!!"
